This is for the sistahs that just have no clue..
And im gonna leave it at that

I highly suggest you all read this book, and since it is indeed Black History Month, we might as well start it off right

Assata Shakur is the what i call the Radical Queen of the Struggle. Memeber of the Black Panther Party, Black Liberation Army and so forth, Assata Shakur was simply the voice of her people, and as her name defines just that; AS*SA*TA = she who struggles, this autobiography depicts the aweful, and horrific acts of violence on Assata Shakur during her 6 years behind bars on bullshit charges against her, stating that she killed a New Jersey State Trooper, and that she was an infamous Bank Robber and this thing and that thing. The truth is, she was simply guilty for, of course, being black in a facist, racist and demeaning country before her great escape in 1979

Check this Book out, and remain AWARE, never UNAWARE

I'll have more Books for you all as we go along. Lets take this one day at a time : )
